Biography

Hello! I’m Raja Sandhu, born in Hamilton, New Zealand, I have a strong passion for photography, design, gaming, and technology. These interests have shaped a lot of my work and who I am as a person. In photography, I’ve worked on many different projects, from capturing buildings and spaces to more casual, street-style photos as well as a lot of nature and wildlife photography.

I love experimenting with different styles to see what best tells the story of the moment. Design is another area I’m passionate about. As part of my degree, I completed a design internship, which gave me real-world experience and helped me improve my skills. I love combining the two things I am passionate about, design and photography to create a blend of both. Whether it's behind a camera, designing something or both, I’m always looking to learn and try new things to grow creatively.

Project Description

My project is a photography book that focuses on showcasing the beauty of different animals and flowers. This project combines two of my favourite subjects—capturing the vibrant, unique personalities of animals and the delicate, intricate details of flowers. Through this book, I aim to highlight the natural beauty of both wildlife and flora, bringing out the textures, colours, and moods that make them so captivating. Each photo is a chance to explore how these subjects interact with their environments and reveal their natural grace. It's a project that's close to me and lets me blend my love for wildlife, flowers, photography and design.
