Hi! My name is Caelan, and I am a versatile creative with a passion for design, media, and production. Although born in the UK and raised throughout New Zealand, I have been based in Hamilton for the past decade.

I have a keen eye for detail, a passion for communicating and can excel in various design and media pursuits. My interests extend beyond the digital realm, encompassing a deep appreciation for music and the intricacies of live production; particularly for festivals and conferences. I have a diverse skill set and a dedication to the creative industry as a whole. Whether it's designing captivating visuals, producing compelling content, or bringing stories to life through live performances, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

Project Description

Budge-it is a branding and digital budgeting tool project, designed to bridge the gap between education, and real-world application. It is created for anyone to use; however, branding, marketing, and the UI have been designed with particular consideration for 18-30 yr olds who struggle to find a budgeting tool they understand and / or are excited to use.

I have long had a fascination with financial literacy and have noticed that this is not something common amongst others at a similar stage of life as me. Your greatest wealth building tool is your income and so if you can maximise that, you’ll reach financial freedom. The aim of Budge-it to close the entry point for beginners, by taking all the scary stuff out of the equation. The app has integrated learning modules to provide basic to advanced teaching on financial literacy, and the world of budgeting.
